EPW - Brothers Melly, Swiss going barrel with "Compound Ruby Cylinder Escapement," 50mm, 18K OF original case with signed enameled gold cuvette stating attributes, KWKS, elaborate multicolor gold dial, the ruby cylinder staff broken and half missing, 10J, gilt mvt, s#1240, with gold-shell period key. Gross weight of assembled watch 57.4 dwt (89.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, the staff will need replacement in steel unless one goes to great efforts, near mint mvt condition overall; dial with pristine iridescent tarnish, coming up dark red in center; hands in near mint blue with bend to minute, seconds missing but post present; case shows little wear, many MFS to back and cuvette, only slight dents or dings, complete ET detail; bow tight; good flat-domed bull's-eye glass crystal.
